Hollyhocks and Trees

This was another commission and was inspired by the style of Louis Comfort Tiffany. These three large glass panels [each measuring over six foot in height] show Hollyhocks in profusion, in the foreground a tree nods its foliage over the scene. The paints I used were different to the norm, and were in a mixed pallette of primary and secondary colours in opaque, pearlescent, and transperent glass paints, with contouring paste to enhance the outline of each leaf, petal, flower and tree.
