Raptor Feather Wands

It has taken me some years to source feathers from Birds of Prey that are both sustainable and ethical. Because of my interest in birds and their welfare I have over time become friendly with various falconers who have now become my friends, and various bird sanctuaries and rescue centres.

Periodically I am able to acquire feathers such as Owl, Hawk [Red Tailed], Kestrel, Falcon, Condor etc.

I have also been fortunate enough to acquire some Eagle feathers from a Falconer friend. These feathers are naturally maulted. Usually falconers keep some of their bird feathers in order to repair any of the birds feathers that are damaged. However, over time they can build up an adequate supply and are left with some that are not needed.

These feathers are not available to the US or Canada due to legislation that forbids ownership of any part of any bird of prey without a State license.

Eagle feathers are so beautiful that I feel that no additional decoration is necessary. They are 'perfect and powerful' just as they are.

Please note that I am not very often fortunate enough to acquire Eagle feathers, and I do not know, if, or when I will be able to acquire anymore. Our price therefore reflects their scarcity. Please be mindful that to work with Eagle feathers is to honour traditions that date back centuries.
