Associated with protective qualities, and courage. It is said that no fire can ever be lit without the help of the fire spirits and that within each flame in every fire and candle there is a Salamander, have you looked, have you seen them?
It is said that each of the elements has a Season when their powers are at their strongest. So for example Fire Spirits are at their most powerful during the months of Summer. It is also said that every single rock, plant, tree, weed, grain of sand, sod of earth, is watched over by a faerie helper. So next time you might absent mindedly kick a rock, throw away rubbish out of doors, or disturb the natural landscape in someway, take a moment to reflect on the hard work of our faerie kin.
Nature Spirits, Elements.
Despite human beings often damaging areas of Mother Earth's landscape, Elementals are still willing to commincate with us. Linked to the Faerie Realm, Elementals are known to take the form of Elves, Goblins and Gnomes. It is said that those that support faeries, or actively believe in them, or are considerate about the environment and natural landscape will be aided by our Elf, Gnome and Goblin friends. Gnomes work amongst tree roots and close to the earth amongst greenery and vegatation and are able to communicate with animals. Elves are known to come in many forms, light Elves, dark Elves etc, they are incredibly beautiful and have an air of calm and serenity about them. Dwelling in all manner of habitats from rock pools, to tree roots and quiet places that are far away from the presence of humans. These beautiful creatures constantly strive to undo the harm done to Mother Earth by human beings. Goblins too are known at times to make human contact, though mostly they shy away from us. Goblins strive to maintain balance in our eco-system.
Dryads
Spirits of the trees, they are never found far away from their tree home. Somewhat shy, they generally avoid contact with humans. Within each tree there is said to be a portal (doorway) which gives the Dryads access to the Faerie Realm.
If you wish to commune with the spirits of the Shining Realm, our faerie kin, the best times to communicate with them are at Dawn and Dusk. It is also advisable to leave a suitable offering to show your good will and desire to serve the highest good of the faerie realm and Mother Earth.
Wizards
